AIRCRAFT CHARTER FLIGHT

By Rajko Kasagić

Charter flights allow fast and secure communications. Since the industrial revolution, traffic has improved so much that its development can be classified as the fastest growing branch of human activity. According to the road on which the traffic takes place, it is divided into: water, land and air (traffic). With the development of economic relations in the world, traffic is improving both the means of transport and the transport routes. Air transport appeared much later than the others. The advantage of air traffic is its speed. For now, this transport is limited mainly to the transport of passengers, while the transport of goods is limited to the transport of postal items, or smaller quantities of goods of greater value, or perishable goods. Air transport as well as the charter itself has primarily an international character. Its real purpose and its economic advantage are fully expressed in the longer air transport over the territory of several countries. With the exception of large states, small states have a first-class interest in using airspace charters over other states. Despite the great importance of charter flights of international organizations, which regulate air traffic, they have not yet regulated this matter with a single international legal act in order to establish uniform standards for this type of transport of passengers and goods.

TECHNOLOGICAL CHALLENGES IN THE FUNCTION OF SUSTAINABLE EDUCATION

By Sinan Alispahić, Šezad Hodžić, Ajla Haračić

Crisis situations, such as the one caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, are establishing new circumstances in life and activities, to which education is also exposed. These circumstances impose various restrictions related to mobility, inability to travel, inability to work and other barriers. The technological challenges of education come to the fore, especially the process of digital transformation. Various digital platforms and innovative solutions have been established to adapt the implementation of the ongoing teaching process. The focus was on online teaching, distance learning and e-learning. Numerous challenges have emerged related to the performance and quality of teaching, exercises, practical classes, learning outcomes, the level of acquired knowledge and more. To see all the features of online teaching in such circumstances, a study was conducted with students of the first cycle of studies at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Travnik (students from first to fourth year) and teachers who participated in online teaching during the past two academic years (2019/2020). and 2020/2021.). The obtained research results indicate that teachers and students face new complex and demanding challenges that require new competencies in a certain period of time. Adaptation of the educational process to technological challenges and further improvement requires the development of a strategy for conducting online teaching and distance learning

THE ROLE OF GREEN AND BLUE WATER IN ECOSYSTEM SUSTAINABILITY

By Božidarka Arsenović

Water is a substance that was among the first discovered and abundantly used by the man. Although it is well studied from both, a scientific and a philosophical point of view, its new characteristics and features are still being discovered. Thanks to the development of the science of water, man learned that there are different types of water by its origin, use, characteristics and content of other substances in it. The term „green“ and „blue“ water was introduced into the scientific literature by Swedish ecohydrologist Malin Falkenkamp from the Water Institute (SIWI) in Stockholm. Although this term has been used in the world for years, it has remained closed in the narrow circles of scientific specialists. The term is used especially at the level of consideration of global problems of water and land management and the problem of water crisis that threatens the world. In addition to our daily use of water, water is probably a natural resource that the ordinary world understands the least, so it is rightly considered that this resource is not sufficiently understood even by the engineering educated world. Not without reason, Einstein warned: „There is more perfection in an ordinary drop of water than in all the machines that people have invented.“ Green Water has neither managers nor hosts who care about sustainability and its more rational management, unlike managers and government agencies that care about blue water.
